Mission

The General Youth Ministry of the United Pentecostal Church of South Africa (UPCSA) endeavours to prepare today’s young people to be responsible citizens of the nation of South Africa and the Kingdom of God; with a goal that they become inspired, motivated and confident as they transition from they are presently to where they wish to be spiritually, emotionally, intellectually and socially; helping to make them ready for the challenges that they must face now and in the future.

Vision

Realizing that the Great Commission given by our Lord was to reach the world and to make disciples of those that are reached, the General Youth Ministry of the UPCSA seeks to contribute in this effort by firstly reaching out to young people in need of Bible Salvation; and secondly, in training those who have already become partakers of the gospel. Since it’s clear that God is not inhibited by age groups in His plan of loving outreach, it is incumbent that the Church prepares young people for their respective roles in the overall function of the body of Christ. The General Youth Ministry assists local churches of the UPCSA in the evangelism and the discipleship of young people, ages 14 and up. The General Youth Ministry is an integral part of the overall effort of the UPCSA to effectively reach the nation of South Africa with the true saving message of the Lord Jesus Christ. In addition the General Youth Ministry of the UPCSA partners whenever possible with relevant government programs and non-governmental organizations in effort to prepare young people for the various life challenges that are specific to their generation.
